Also known as sparkling wine and generally thought of as Champagne. It is one of the most technically challenging wines to make and easily the most fun to drink because of all the BUBBLES.

ROSÉ is produced by leaving the grape skins in contact with the juice for a short period of time in order to create a hue of color. Made from many different grape varieties and comes in a range of styles.
Need to Know

Can be a very faint onion skin color to a vivid purplish hue.

Definitely not Red though.

WHITE wine uses white wine grapes and ferments the juices without the skins. Generally aged in steel vats to preserve the flavors of the grapes and keep oxidization low.  ORANGE wines are made with white wine grapes but use the same process as RED wines.

Known for zesty acidity, floral aromas, pure fruit notes

RED wines are made with black grapes and the juice is fermented with the skins. They are aged in oak barrels in order to impart flavor and oxidize the wine more. Red wines can also have health benefits depending on how the wine is produced.

APÉRTIFS, the before meal drink, are generally dry rather than sweet in order to prepare your mouth for the delicious food that is coming. DIGESTIFS, after meal drink, are mostly fortified wines and can be bitter or sweet.
